Indigo Hughes

Indigo Hughes hails from a small town near Boulder, Colorado. Her writing career began at the tender age of nine when she won an Arbor Day Poem Contest. Lured into the Performance Arts in high school, she was a member of the Shakespeare Touring Co. where she enjoyed the roles of Kate in Taming of the Shrew and Puck in a Midsummer Night's Dream. 

Indigo is passionate about furthering work by, and for women and other underrepresented communities in the film and theater industries. Mentored by Tony Award-Winning Producer Ken Davenport, Indigo is currently writing her musical KYOTO. Her Feature Film and Original TV Pilot scripts have placed in the Second Round at the prestigious 2021 and 2023 Austin Film Festival script and AMC One Hour Pilot Award competition. As the Production Liason for MOON, she is committed to bringing Nicole Romine's enchanted vision to the worldwide stage as a "first-of-its-kind" Theatrical Production.
